Garden Edging Perth
A line between the lawn and everything else.
Aluminium and weathered steel garden edging, plus pre-formed tree rings. Edging is what stops mulch migrating into the lawn and lawn creeping into the beds — it is a small job that makes a garden look finished and keeps it that way.
Supplied by the length or the pack. Ask at the counter about what suits your run and how many pegs you will need.

How much edging do you need?
Measure the run, then ring us
Edging is bought by the length, and the length is almost always longer than it looks. A curved bed can easily eat a third more than the straight line across it.
Sizes, heights and fixings move with stock on both ranges, so measure first and check with us before you cut anything.
| What to measure | How | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| The run | Walk it with a tape, following the curve rather than cutting the corner | Curves and returns are where people come up short. Round up. |
| The height | Decide how much has to sit above the soil | Mulch and decorative stone need more retained height than lawn does. Formline comes in four heights. |
| Tree rings | The diameter you want around the trunk | We list 600mm and 900mm, in 2mm pre-rolled steel. They are order-in, so allow one to two weeks. |
Link Edge takes straight runs, curves and tight angles, so one product usually does a whole garden. Ring the yard for current sizes and fixings before you order.
How to choose edging
Four things that actually decide it
What is on each side of the line
Edging between lawn and mulch is doing a different job from edging along paving. The first has to stop grass runners; the second mostly has to look straight and hold a level.
Straight runs or curves
Most metal edging will take a curve, but the tighter the radius the more it fights you. If you have a tight arc around a tree, a pre-formed ring saves the argument.
The finish you want
Aluminium gives a clean, consistent line. Weathered steel is chosen for the opposite reason — the surface is the point. Neither is more durable in a garden bed than the other in any way we can measure for you.
How long the run is
Measure the whole run before you come down, including the curves, and add a little. It is a much shorter conversation at the counter than trying to work it out from a photograph.

Side by side, and why you would pick each
| Product | Best for | Main characteristic | Choose this when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Link Edge Aluminium Garden Edging | Lawns, paving and beds | Durable aluminium, clean finish, easy install | You want a crisp line that stays crisp, and you are installing it yourself. |
| Formline Weathered Steel Garden Edging | Garden beds and lawn edges | Weathered steel | You want the weathered steel look rather than a clean metal finish. Ask at the counter for lengths and profiles. |
| Tree Rings | Around trunks | Pre-formed rings | You want to keep lawn, mulch, soil or stone away from a trunk without cutting your own curve. |
