What can you use Therma Logs for?
Regular home heating
A convenient supply of compressed hardwood in a compatible wood-burning heater. Uniform pieces make an overnight burn predictable.
Where storage is tight
Bagged and stackable, with none of the bark, splinters and spiders that come with a firewood pile.
Topping up a wood pile
When the stack is damp, buried, or nearly gone. A few bags in the shed is a useful thing to have.
Outdoor fires, where permitted
In compatible outdoor fireplaces or fire pits, where local fire restrictions allow it.
How many bags?
About twenty kilos to a bag
Therma Logs come in bags of approximately 20kg. How long one lasts depends entirely on the heater and how long it runs, the same as any fuel.
Because the logs are uniform, this is easier to work out than with split wood — count the logs you use in an evening and the arithmetic holds from one night to the next.

How to get Therma Logs
Collect from the yard
Open seven days at 222 Barrington St, Bibra Lake. The loader puts it straight into your trailer or ute, and someone will tell you whether what you have brought will carry the load.
Borrow one of our trailers free for two hours to get your load home. No charge, no bond.
Have it delivered
Across Perth's southern suburbs, seven days. For a quote we need the address, how much you need, and anything awkward about access — tight driveways, low branches and side access all change which truck we send. Confirm the current cost when you order.

Using Therma Logs
How to use Therma Logs
Check your appliance first
Use them where the fireplace or heater manufacturer permits compressed hardwood briquettes. Not every appliance is rated for them and the manual is the authority.
Store them dry
Low moisture is the whole point of the product and a damp bag gives it away. Inside, off the floor, out of the weather.
Build the fire the usual way
Kindling first, get a proper flame going, then add logs. They light like wood, they just do not vary the way wood does.
Do not overload a small firebox
They are dense and they expand as they burn. Start with fewer than you would use of split wood and see how your heater handles them.
When to choose something else
When it is the wrong product
- Not every heater permits compressed briquettes. Check the appliance manufacturer's directions before you switch, rather than after.
- They cost more per unit of heat than bulk firewood. What you are buying is convenience, consistency and dryness.
- They are dense and expand as they burn. A small firebox loaded like a wood fire can end up overloaded.
- Stock and pricing change. Ring the yard to confirm availability before you drive down.
- Outdoors, fire restrictions apply and change through the season. Check before you light anything.
