Bagged Split Firewood
Eighteen kilos you can carry.
Split hardwood firewood in 18kg bags, ready to burn. It is the same wood as the bulk pile in a format you can lift, fit in a car boot and stack in a corner — which is what makes it the right buy for a fire pit, a weekend away or a house that burns a few nights a month rather than all winter.

Real stock, not a swatch. Blended products vary a little batch to batch, so treat these as a guide rather than an exact colour match.

What Bulk Bag Firewood suits
What can you use Bulk Bag Firewood for?
Fire pits and outdoor fires
A bag at a time is exactly the right unit for an evening outside. Nothing left over to store through summer.
Occasional home heating
A house that lights the fire a few nights a month does not want a bulk load taking up the side of the house all winter.
Camping and weekends away
It goes in the boot, it stays contained, and you know what you have got. Check local fire restrictions before you light anything.
Topping up a bulk load
When the pile is nearly gone and a full load is more than the rest of the season needs.
How much firewood?
Bags for occasional, bulk for a winter
Firewood use varies more than almost anything else in the yard — the same house burns a bag a month or a bag a night depending on the heater and the habit.
So rather than pretend to a rate, this is the practical shape of it. Ring us if you are working out a whole winter and we will talk through what a bulk load actually looks like.
| Use | Roughly | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| An evening around a fire pit | One to two bags | Depends entirely on how long you sit out there. |
| Occasional wood heater use | A few bags a month | Past about ten bags a month, price a bulk load. |
| Heating all winter | Buy bulk | Far cheaper per kilo. We will load your trailer or deliver. |
Store it dry and covered, off the ground. Seasoned wood that has taken moisture back on smokes instead of heating.
Why Bulk Bag Firewood
Why choose Bulk Bag Firewood?
You can carry it
Eighteen kilograms in a bag, into a car boot. No trailer to borrow and nothing tipped on the driveway to be moved twice.
A measured quantity
Every bag is the same, so you can work out what a winter costs you rather than guessing at a heap.
Split and seasoned
Ready to burn. Split catches and holds far better than rounds, and seasoned wood is the difference between heat and smoke.
It stores tidily
Bagged wood stacks in a corner of a shed or a garage without spreading bark and spiders across the floor.
Getting Bulk Bag Firewood home
How to get Bulk Bag Firewood
Collect from the yard
Open seven days at 222 Barrington St, Bibra Lake. The loader puts it straight into your trailer or ute, and someone will tell you whether what you have brought will carry the load.
Borrow one of our trailers free for two hours to get your load home. No charge, no bond.
Have it delivered
Across Perth's southern suburbs, seven days. For a quote we need the address, how much you need, and anything awkward about access — tight driveways, low branches and side access all change which truck we send. Confirm the current cost when you order.
Formats
- 18kg bags
- Single bags, or as many as you can carry
- Also loose, by the bulk load
Using Bulk Bag Firewood
How to use Bulk Bag Firewood
Store it dry and covered
Even seasoned wood takes moisture back on if it sits out in the rain, and wet wood smokes rather than heats. Under cover and off the ground.
Start small, build up
Kindling and the smaller split pieces to establish the fire, then the larger ones once it is going. Loading a cold fire with big pieces is how you end up with smoke.
Give it air
A fire that is choked smoulders and smokes. Get it burning properly before you damp it down for a long slow burn.
Check the restrictions outdoors
Fire restrictions change through the season and they apply to fire pits. Check before you light anything outside, and follow safe fire practice.
When to choose something else
When it is the wrong product
- It costs more per kilo than the bulk load. That is the price of not needing a trailer, and past a certain number of bags the bulk load is the better buy.
- Eighteen kilograms is a real weight. Easy to carry one, less pleasant to carry ten from the car to the back shed.
- It is firewood, not kindling. You still need something small to start with.
- Store it dry. Wood that has taken moisture back on smokes instead of heating, and covering it is the whole of the maintenance.
